Promotion Scarf
"Today Promotions" Doctor Who Scarf (1976)
This is the only Doctor Who Scarf that I know of that has ever been
officially released. 
It was released in 1976 during Tom Baker's golden years by a company
named "Today Promotions" and there seems to be a surprising
amount of them still in existance!
It was made with a 60% wool / 40% nylon yarn and was made on a knitting
machine in stockinette stitch. I think it was a tube scarf, with the "wrong" side of the fabric out. (which is why it looks like garterstitch)
The colors were actually very good and they basically just took a
section of the pattern and repeated it over and over again. I believe
it came in 6 foot and 10 foot lengths, which are not very long for
a Doctor Who Scarf!
I just thought I would make a page for it here just for nostalgic
interest. If anyone knows where I can find one, please email
me as I might want to buy it!
