Season 15 Yarn
The original scarf was made with a sport weight wool yarn
with the following colors: (Refer to the photos
page)
- Medium Purple
- Light/Medium Gray
- Very Dark Olive Green
- Medium Brown
- Medium/Dark Red
- Dark Yellow
- Light Tan/Beige
Although you can use whatever yarn you want, here are some that
I've found:
Brown Sheep's "Nature Spun" line. (wool)
- All the colors are available in Worsted, Sport, and Fingering
weights.
- It is inexpensive. (About $3 for a 185 yard skein of Sport
weight)
- The colors are quite good. (click to enlarge the color charts.)

I haven't really looked into these colors in the Brown Sheep range,
but take a look at the color charts; I'm sure they have some good
choices. Jo
Sharp (wool)
- The yarn is "double-knitting" or "DK" weight.
- It is expensive. (about $7 for a 107 yard ball)
